Thème - Rainbow!
Ce mois-ci, pour annoncer la couleur, le fil rouge est la météo : on oscille entre soleil et pluie avec le thème Rainbow! YARN AND COLORS
J’ai découvert récemment Yarn and colors et j’ai tout de suite adoré le concept : 9 laines déclinées dans une palette de 100 coloris. La marque néerlandaise, fondée en 2016, a pour objectif de fournir à ses clients la couleur exacte qu’ils recherchent, dans diverses qualités de laine. Ils proposent des pelotes en coton, laine et acrylic à prix imbattables, aux grosseurs de fils variés (de 3mm à 25mm) et dans des poids différents : la plus petite pelote démarre à 10g/25m. Personnellement je trouve ça assez génial puisque cela offre la possibilité d’acheter seulement un petit poids de laine pour réaliser des pièces avec plein de couleurs. C’est idéal pour tricoter en jacquard, en instarsia, ou pour crocheter des amigurumis (petites peluches), qui nécessitent souvent de petites longueurs de laines mais nombreux coloris.

This month, we’re going to talk about weather and colors: we’ll swing from rain to sun with the theme Rainbow ! I’ve prepared a little moodboard of colorful inspirations, the Rainbow Sweater pattern, 7 meteorological knitting stitch tutorials, and in the Wool selection, I’ll tell you a little about the brand Yarn and colors I recently discovered and really love.

YARN AND COLORS
I recently discovered Yarn and colors and immediately loved the concept: 9 types of yarn in a color range of 100 different shades. The brand was founded in 2016 in the Netherlands, with the aim to offer their clients the exact colors they are looking for, through different qualities of yarn.
They produce cotton, wool and acrylic yarn at an unbeatable price, in diverse needle sizes (from 3mm to 25mm) and weights : the smallest skein starts at 10g/25m. I personally find this quite awesome, as it enables you to buy small weights in order to knit designs with lots of colors. It’s ideal for jacquard and intarsia knits, or for crocheting amigurumis (little Japanese puppets), which only require small lengths of wool but many different shades.
