Les jetés peuvent se faire entre 2 mailles endroit, 2 mailles envers, entre 1 maille endroit et 1 maille envers ou inversement. Entre 2 mailles identiques, le fil doit faire un tour autour de l’aiguille. Entre 2 mailles différentes, le fil doit faire un tour et demi.

Enroulez le fil autour de la pointe de l'aiguille droite, dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre, de manière à faire un tour complet. Le fil passe donc sous l'aiguille, de l'arrière vers l'avant, puis au-dessus de l'aiguille, de l'avant vers l'arrière. Tricotez la maille suivante à l'endroit. Le jeté se trouve entre les 2 mailles tricotées.

How to yarn over
Yarn overs can be made between 2 knit stitches, 2 purl stitches, between a knit stitch and a purl stitch, and vice versa. Between 2 identical stitches, the yarn must make a full turn around the right hand needle. Between 2 different stitches, it must make a full turn and a half.

Wrap the yarn around the tip of the right hand needle, counterclockwise, in order to make a full turn: pass the yarn under the needle from back to front, then over the needle from front to back. Knit the next stitch.

Wrap the yarn around the tip of the right hand needle, counterclockwise, in order to make a full turn: pass the yarn over the needle from front to back, then under the needle from back to front. Purl the next stitch.
