Construction
The Safran top is worked from bottom to top with 4.5 mm knitting needles. You will start by working the bottom of the body in circular knitting until you reach the underarms, and you will divide the stitches to knit the front and the back separately in flat knitting, turning your work at the end of each row to go back and forth on the right side and on the wrong side of the piece.
Shape and sizes
Sizes XS (S - M - L - XL) are suited for a 75/80 (80/85 - 85/95 - 95/105 - 105/120) cm [29.5/31.5 (31.5/33.5 - 33.5/37.4 - 37.4/41.3 - 41.3/47.2) inches] bust circumference.
There are three length options for this pattern: the cropped version stops more or less at the waist, the mid-length version goes down to the hips, and the longer version stops below the hips. To choose the length that suits you best, take the measurement starting at the neck and shoulder juncture, and going down.

In this pattern, you will find written instructions as well as a chart. You will also find written tutorials and links to videos for particular techniques at the end of the pattern. To help you follow the different steps, I’ve also included a checklist for each size: don’t hesitate to print it and cross the boxes as you go to keep track of your progress.
